Peter’s mum (Raewyn) has collected a lot of these recipes over the years and many of them have become quite popular with her large family. Carefully read through the recipes before you start making them, otherwise you might find you have to find another recipe which uses the leftovers or invite a few hungry friends around…
A lot of the recipes had a mix of imperial and metric measurements, but Peter has tried to standardise them so all the recipes use metrics. Only three countries continue to use ancient measurements: United States of America, Myanmar and Liberia. (If you come from one of these countries, no apologies – catch up with the rest of the modern world).
Our branch of the extended Murray Family has not tested all of the recipes. Therefore, let the eater beware, there may be some errors in the recipes so if you are not too sure, invite a few hungry friends around…
From time to time you might feel like experimenting with food and discover a recipe that could be worthy of entry in the Murray Family Secret Recipes. Submit your creation via our Contact page, but test it first by inviting a few hungry friends around.
