Victoria Sponge

Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams ½ lb butter
  • cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Vanilla essence
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • Milk to mix

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter & sugar, beat in eggs & essence. Sift in flour & baking powder, then mix to smooth consistency with small amount of milk. Bake large tin, 180ºC (350ºF) about 25-30 minutes.
