Mum's Bacon & Egg Pie

Pastry
- 250 grams (½ lb) flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½tsp salt
- 60 grams (2oz) dripping
- 60 grams (2oz) butter
Filling
- 6-8 eggs
- chopped bacon
- grated cheese
- chopped chives
- onion
- tomatoes
- any left-over cooked potato
- peas
- meat
- sausage
- Seasonings as desired
Pastry
- Grate dripping & butter into sifted dry ingredients. Use wire pastry blender to rub in the fat. Add a little milk to mix. Roll pastry and line pie dish.
Filling
- Add filling into pie crust and bake 190ºC (375ºF) for 35-45 minutes.
Notes
- Mum probably refers to Raewyn's mother.
