Lemon Cake

Ingredients
  

  • cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 125 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • grated rind of lemon

Topping

  • lemon
  • ¼ cup

Instructions
 

  • Sift flour, baking powder salt and add sugar. Rub in butter and mix in eggs with milk. Add rind. Bake in loaf tin for 1 hour or ring tin for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and pour over topping. Remove from tin when cool.

Topping

  • Mix juice of lemon with sugar.
