Large Sponge
Ingredients
- 4 eggs 3 duck
- 170 grams 6 oz sugar
- 2 Tbs water
- 170 grams 6 oz corn flour
- 1 dessert spoon flour
- 1 heaped tsp baking powder
- Vanilla essence
Instructions
- Separate eggs. Beat whites until peaks form. Boil sugar and water and add to egg whites gradually while beating Add egg yolks & essence, then fold in sifted dry ingredients. Bake 190ªC (375ºF) 15 - 20 minutes.
