Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- 60 grams 2 oz butter -grated
- 1 cup grated cheese
- pinch cayenne
Instructions
- Rub butter & cheese into dry ingredients (can use pastry blender); then add small amount of water to make dry dough. Fold over several times and roll out as for making puff pastry, trapping in the air. Cut into finger shapes & bake on a cold greased tray 10-12 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF). Put in air-tight container when cold.
