Baby Tandoori Meat loaves

  • 500 grams mince
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 Tbs oil
  • cups fresh white bread crumbs use food processor
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 2 Tbs Tandoori paste or 1 Tbs powdered Tandoori
  • 1 Tbs finely chopped parsley
  • Bacon to wrap around loaves


  • Heat oil in small pan & stir fry onion until soft - add garlic & bread crumbs; cook 2 minutes. Mix mince with onion mixture & bind together with beaten eggs, Tandoori seasoning & parsley. Season with salt & lots of freshly ground pepper. With wet hands, form mince into little loaves, wrap bacon around them and place in oiled roasting dish. Bake in preheated 400ºF about 30-35 minutes. Serve with Coconut Rice with Sweet Chili Yoghurt Dressing.
