Aunt Daisy’s Apple Shortcake
Ingredients
- Some apples
- 125 grams butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- a small amount of milk
- 2 breakfast cups flour
- 1 heaped tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Stew the apples. Cream together 125 grams butter and ¾ cup sugar. Then add 1 egg and beat well. Add a small amount of milk. Sift together 2 breakfast cups flour and 1 heaped tsp baking powder
- This will be a fairly dry mix. Roll out. Put apple on half and cover with the other half. Bake moderate oven until lightly brown.
