Apple John
Ingredients
- 250 grams flour 8oz
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbs. butter
- ½ cup milk
- Stewed apples
Instructions
- Put stewed apples in greased dish. Make scone dough topping - sift flour & baking powder Rub in the butter, mix with milk to a soft dough. Roll out and place on top of hot apple. Bake at 190ºC (375ºF) until crust is browned.
