Anzac Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams 8 oz butter
  • 4 Tbs boiling water
  • 2 Tbs golden syrup
  • 2 small cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 cups rolled oats

Instructions
 

  • Put in a pot and melt gently: butter, water, syrup, sugar. Add this liquid to the mixed dry ingredients. Drop in teaspoon lots onto a cold tray. Flatten with a fork. Bake until golden approx. 20 minutes at 150ºC (300ºF). Makes about 80.
