Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients
- 250 grams 8 oz butter
- 4 Tbs boiling water
- 2 Tbs golden syrup
- 2 small cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- pinch salt
- 2 cups coconut
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 cups rolled oats
Instructions
- Put in a pot and melt gently: butter, water, syrup, sugar. Add this liquid to the mixed dry ingredients. Drop in teaspoon lots onto a cold tray. Flatten with a fork. Bake until golden approx. 20 minutes at 150ºC (300ºF). Makes about 80.
