Almond Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams ½ lb butter
  • 250 grams ½ lb sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 375 grams ¾ lb flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp almond essence
  • Almond pieces

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter & sugar. Add beaten egg. Fold in sifted flour & Baking Powder Add essence. Place in ball on greased tray; flatten with a fork and place piece of almond on top. Bake 180ºC/350ºF for 15 minutes. Makes about 50.
