Large Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 250 grams ½ lb butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 dessert spoons golden syrup
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 4 Tbs cocoa
- 2 cups warm milk
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs & golden syrup. Sift dry ingredients & add alternately with soda which has been dissolved in milk. Lastly add the baking powder & vanilla. Bake in 1 large or 2 medium lined tins, 180ºC (350ºF) for 45 minutes.
