Ingredients

1 lb mixed fruit or sultanas

½ lb butter

sugar

beaten eggs

Hi-grade flour

baking powder

vanilla

Instructions
Put dried fruit into large pot, cover with water & simmer for 5 minutes. Strain & add butter. Stir until melted then add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Bake in lined round or square tin about 1 hour 180ºC (350ºF).
