Instructions
Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs & golden syrup. Sift dry ingredients & add alternately with soda which has been dissolved in milk. Lastly add the baking powder & vanilla. Bake in 1 large or 2 medium lined tins, 180ºC (350ºF) for 45 minutes.
