Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sultanas

Topping

  • 2 -2½ cups boiling water
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Rub butter into flour. Mix to a paste with ½ - 1 cup milk. Place in large baking dish & pour over the following mixture: 2 -2½ cups boiling water 1 Tbs.butter, 1 cup brown sugar. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF). Serves 6.
